Bobbie Watkins was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She is the daughter of Rev. Dr. Veronica Watkins, and the late Rev. Robert Watkins Jr. Bobbie was taught the essential fundamentals of the word & about God at St. James AME Church under the leadership of her mother and father. Her parents’, grandparents’ and Special Aunts’ teachings and structure in raising her has been important in her career and has made her spiritual experience and maturity easier to adjust too. She is currently an active member of Maranatha Worship Center and has recommitted her life to Christ under the leadership of Dr. Truman Martin & Dr. Beverly Martin.

Ms. Watkins graduated from Patterson Career Center in 1998, Miles College receiving a Bachelor of Arts in 2005 and received a Mastered Degree in Secondary Education at Grand Canyon University in 2014. She became a Certified Professional Coach in 2018 through Atiras International Coaching Academy. She has successfully founded programs, businesses and has developed structures that other successful business owners are incorporating today. Ms. Watkins travels throughout the state presenting executive level professional development trainings for educators, business owners and corporate leaders using her curriculum “Taking Responsibility For My Performance that focuses on Personal & Professional development. She is the author of A Search For Her New Beginning, a book that helps others seek purpose in life. Ms. Watkins became co-owner of a Faith Based T-Shirt ministry in which she helped develop the structure of the business which led the company to making 6 figures in 6 months in 2021. 

Ms. Watkins is now the single owner of the Obedience Ink Kiosk located in the Dayton Mall and is currently working to open additional locations in surrounding cities. She uses Ink to share Prophecies, Scriptures and Inspiration that often encourages others to study, apply or share the word with others. She believes that her messages are conversation starters. Obedience Ink Kiosk also offers a paid internships program. She is actively accepting partnerships from churches and organization for this program to help young adults incorporate Kingdom principles in everyday living and building.

Ms. Watkins offers life coaching & professional business consulting using Kingdom Principles. She also created the Serenity Break Room to provide a safe space for women to relax, refresh and restart in an environment that is conducive for learning and networking. Her Purpose Parties were created to develop a unique experience for those desiring to celebrate their special occasion focusing on purpose, identity, and goal setting in an intimate setting. She created an online accountability group called 31 Days of Discipline that helps women focus on their goals and/instruction given to them by God. Ms. Watkins created a platform called The Book Launch Brunch for new authors to share their stories and strategies that could possible help others step out on faith and write their book. This platform also allows them the opportunity to promote their books. Every year Ms. Watkins offers a Leadership Conference. Last years’ 5th Annual conference theme was Faith Walking with a highlight of Women in the Bible. The conferences were created by Ms. Watkins to give local leaders the opportunity to share their personal faith experience. Last year she started a summer Faith Walkers Activity downtown Riverscape where women would come together daily for prayer, devotion, and exercise. 

All of Obedience Inks’ programs are adaptable and meets the individual needs of all women who are ready to grow regardless of their starting level. The structures of her programs and services can offer adequate and appropriate support for all careers and genders even though Ms. Watkins believes her target market is women interested in developing intentionally. She strongly believes that ALL women can overcome all obstacles regardless of their past challenges or failures. 

Ms. Watkins enjoys helping others rebuild, reset, refresh, and reposition themselves for the purpose of serving others. She enjoys helping people identify their purpose and passion. 

Ms. Watkins Purpose is to develop executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders, through her knowledge gain from her experience, her gift, failures, and achievements. She believes that together we can reach the masses by first practicing what we teach. Ms. Watkins believes that “Ministry is how you live & not just what you teach. Ms. Watkins trademark logo is But, She Didn't Quit Tho… (Philippians) 4:13. God consistently reminds her through her logo to continue to trust him and obey him the best way she knows how every step of the way. Her level of Obedience has tremendously increased through test, trials, and tribulation. 

Above all that was spoken, Ms. Watkins is honored to be the mother of 3 beautiful children. She works hard daily to teach them forgiveness, repentance, love, and obedience to God.
